Saving Port Royal's Mangroves (Showcase Version)
Award Winning Documentary: Best in Storytelling, EU Short Film Competition 2019. This documentary explores the environmental issues affecting the UNESCO World Heritage site of Port Royal, Jamaica. Amidst recent concerns regarding the newly built cruise ship port, this documentary becomes increasingly more relevant. To explore this issue, I sit down with Professor Mona Webber of the Centre of Marine Sciences, UWI Mona, Ms. Chauntelle Green of the Port Royal Marine Lab and Dr. Zachary Beier of the Jamaica Archaeological Society and Jamaica National Heritage Trust. Windrush (Documentary) Part 1
Done by and aired on Television Jamaica. It’s no secret the contributions Jamaicans have made throughout the world. Many set out with an intention to come back after a few years, but ended up spending a lifetime away from family and friends; but they never forgot their homeland – Jamaica. Hear them relate their experiences in Windrush stories I served as a production assistant with responsibility for conducting and coordinating many of the interviews.
